When is the best time to prune my trees?

The best time would be in the fall after the leaves have dropped off the trees, which is usually around late October to late November. Hazardous limbs or deadwood may be removed at any time throughout the year.

What happens to the chippings that are left after grinding a stump?

We reduce the stump into chippings that are mixed up with the soil in which the stump was standing on. This results in 'mulch.'

What is Mulch?

Mulch is made from organic materials, some of the best being: bark chips, grass clippings, hay, and fallen leaves. Mulching serves for the prevention of moisture loss from soil, to protect our plants from temperature extremes, to control weed growth and as a slow-release soil amendment.

I have a stump that is standing right up against my wall; can you still get it?

We use versatile machinery that is ideal for inching right up to a wall, patio or other object that you definitely don't want damaged in any way. Robert's Tree Service can usually take out all signs of a tree literally within millimeters of any structure without causing damage.
